Daleen Nel completed her degree in Fine Arts at the University of Pretoria. Her love for the Arts led her to lecture Art and Photography for 11 years, amongst others at Pretoria High School for Girls. In 2003 she established Capturing Life Photography.

During 2004 some of her wedding photographs were selected to form part of a “Proudly South African” exhibition hosted in the United States of America. More recently her work was featured on DSTV channels Kyknet and MK89.

Her motto is to capture LIFE in a creative and unique way. Life’s too short to miss a moment
